CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Boston College, Clemson, North Carolina and Stanford earned quarterfinal victories on Wednesday, April 23, in the 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Lacrosse Championship at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Top-seeded North Carolina started the day with a 19-9 triumph over No. 8 seed Virginia Tech, and No. 5 seed Clemson followed by downing No. 4 seed Duke, 15-7. No. 2 seed Boston College topped No. 7 Virginia, 17-7, and No. 3 seed Stanford came from behind to oust No. 6 seed Syracuse, 15-10.
The semifinals will be contested on Friday, April 25, with North Carolina and Clemson facing off at 5 p.m. ET and Boston College and Stanford following at 8 p.m. ET. The winners play on Sunday, April 27, in the championship game at noon ET. ACC Network has the broadcast of each game.

No. 1 North Carolina 19, Virginia Tech 9
Ashley Humphrey scored four goals and assisted on four more as North Carolina (16-0) rolled to the win over Virginia Tech (9-9) in the tournament opener. Her sister, Chloe, added a hat trick as well as an assist. Grace New and Lauren Render each scored hat tricks for the Hokies. UNC’s defense forced Virginia Tech into 20 turnovers.
No. 5 Clemson 15, No. 4 Duke 7
Bridget Babcock and Lexi Edmonds each scored four goals, while goalkeeper Emily Lamparter totaled 11 saves, as Clemson (13-5) cruised to a win over Duke (12-5), avenging a tight home loss to the Blue Devils in the regular season and advancing to the semifinals for the first time. Clemson scored seven straight goals in the first half to grab a 7-1 lead in the second quarter. Callie Hem recorded a hat trick for Duke.
No. 2 Boston College 17, No. 7 Virginia 7
Rachel Clark scored six goals and scooped up five ground balls as the Eagles (16-1) secured the win over UVA (11-6). Shea Dolce made 14 saves for BC. Jenna Dinardo scored a pair of goals to pace the Cavaliers’ offense, while Mel Josephson racked up 11 saves. The game was tied at three early in the second quarter before the Eagles’ offense came alive. BC outscored the Cavaliers 12-2 in the second and third quarters to open up a 14-4 edge.
No. 3 Stanford 15, No. 6 Syracuse 10
After falling behind by four goals early in the second quarter, Stanford (14-4) roared back, scoring 11 of the game’s final 13 goals to secure the program’s first-ever ACC Women’s Lacrosse Championship victory. Aliya Polisky and Rylee Bouvier each scored four goals and dished out an assist. The Cardinal’s defense also locked things down, surrendering just two goals in the final 42 minutes after allowing eight goals in the game’s first 18 minutes. Alexa Vogelman and Gracie Britton each recorded hat tricks for Syracuse (9-8).
