CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Week 2 of league play in Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Soccer begins on Friday, September 12. All seven conference games this weekend, and NC State's non-conference match against FAU, will be broadcast on ACCNX.

Noting ACC Men's Soccer
• The first full weekend of league play features seven games from Friday through Sunday. NC State has the ACC bye this week and plays FAU in non-conference action.
• ACC teams have combined for a 43-13-12 record in non-conference play (.721 win percentage, best of any league).
• Louisville and NC State are two of seven teams nationally that have yet to concede a goal this season. UofL remains one of six undefeated teams nationally.
• Eight ACC teams are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, including five in the top 10: Clemson (2), Wake Forest (4), NC State (5), Louisville (6), Stanford (8), Virginia Tech (14), Duke (19) and North Carolina (21). Both totals are the most of any league.
• Five ACC standouts were named to the Men’s Hermann Trophy Watch List: Ransford Gyan (Clemson), Ulfur Bjornsson (Duke), Luca Nikolai (UNC), Casper Svendby (Pitt) and Cooper Flax (Wake Forest).
• ACC teams have won 20 NCAA men’s soccer championships, with 11 since 2001, including three of the last four (Clemson 2021 & 2023, Syracuse 2022). Eight active ACC programs have won at least one national championship, the most of any conference. The 15 active ACC schools have combined for 20 titles.
• At least one ACC team has reached the Men's College Cup in 22 of the last 24 seasons. Thirteen of the 15 active ACC programs have reached the College Cup. Sixty-five ACC teams have reached the College Cup all-time.
• Six active ACC head coaches have won D-I national championships as a head coach: Mike Noonan (Clemson), Carlos Somoano (UNC), Jay Vidovich (Pitt), Jeremy Gunn (Stanford), Ian McIntyre (Syracuse) and George Gelnovatch (Virginia). NC State's Marc Hubbard won a Division II national title in 2013.
