ACC Announces Men's Tennis Players of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the fourth set of weekly honors for the 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis season, the Florida State duo of Luis Felipe Miguel and Erik Schiessl was named the ACC Men’s Doubles Team of the Week. Additionally, Clemson’s Viktor Markov was named the ACC Men’s Player of the Week, while NC State’s Charlie Camus was named the ACC Men’s Freshman of the Week.
 
ACC MEN’S DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK
Luis Felipe Miguel, Florida State, Sr. (Goiania, Brazil)
Erik Schiessl, Florida State, Jr. (Nuremberg, Germany)
  • Won their lone doubles match against Theo Papamalamis and Togan Tokac of No. 8 Texas A&M to help the Seminoles clinch the doubles point.
  • The duo remains undefeated this season in doubles play.
ACC MEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Viktor Markov, Clemson, So. (Sofia, Bulgaria)
  • Defeated No. 57 Hamza Nasridinov of Auburn, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
  • Defeated Ivan Dreycopp of Charlotte, 7-5, 7-5.
  • Helped defeat the Charlotte duo of Vasco Prata and Dreycopp, 7-5.
ACC MEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Charlie Camus, NC State, Fr. (Canberra, Australia)
  • Scored three singles wins to lead the Wolfpack to three wins over NC Central, Princeton and Harvard.
    • Defeated NC Central’s Pol Puig Montiel, 6-4, 6-0.
    • Defeated Princeton’s Milan Markovitz, 7-6 (8-6), 6-1.
    • Defeated Harvard’s Mitchell Lee, 6-7 (6-8), 6-4, 6-0 to clinch the match for the Wolfpack.
  • Teamed with Noah Gabriel to defeat NC Central’s Leo Fortier-Gariepy and Pol Puig Montiel, 6-0.
  • Paired up with William Manning to defeat Princeton’s Aleksandar Mitric and Sebastian Sec, 6-3.
