CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the second set of weekly honors for the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Softball season, Duke’s Aminah Vega was named the ACC Player of the Week, while Florida State’s Jazzy Francik earned ACC Pitcher of the Week laurels. Additionally, Florida State’s Marin Heller and Stanford’s Addyson Sheppard shared ACC Freshman of the Week honors.
                                          
ACC Player of the Week
Aminah Vega, Duke, Sr. (DeBary, Florida)

• Finished 11-for-17 at the plate (.647) in the Shriners Children’s Invitational, including a perfect 6-for-6 on day two of the tournament against No. 17 Georgia and No. 23 Oklahoma State.
  • Recorded nine runs, four RBIs, a double, a triple and a home run.
  • Posted a 1.000 slugging percentage.
  • Defensively, posted a 1.000 fielding percentage.
  • Was named to the 2026 Shriners Children’s Invitational All-Tournament Team.

ACC Pitcher of the Week
Jazzy Francik, Florida State, So. (Rockledge, Florida)

• Went 3-0 on the week, including a win over No. 7 UCLA.
• Threw a total of 14.2 innings in three games, while striking out nine batters at the plate.
• Made a relief appearance against No. 1 Texas Tech, allowing just one hit.

ACC Co-Freshman of the Week
Addyson Sheppard, Stanford, Fr. (Kingwood, Texas)

• Hit .400, going 4-for-10 over four games, including a double.
• Scored three runs in four games.
• Drove in four runs in the victory over No. 14 Oregon.

ACC Co-Freshman of the Week
Marin Heller, Florida State, Fr. (Des Moines, Iowa)

• Hit .400 (8-for-20) with five RBIs.
• Went 3-for-4 (.750) against No. 7 UCLA, marking her best performance of the season.
• Also went 3-for-4 with two RBIs in a win over Liberty.
