CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The fourth weekend of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis spring season gets underway on Friday, February 6, with a full slate of action as all 17 ACC women’s tennis programs compete in matches running through Tuesday, February 10.
Four ACC teams qualified for the 2026 ITA Division I Women’s National Indoor Championships set to take place February 6-10. No. 1-seed North Carolina and No. 4-seed Duke will travel to Champaign, Illinois, on Friday for the first day of the main draw. The Tar Heels will face off against No. 8-seeded Illinois at 4:30 p.m. ET, and the Blue Devils will take on No. 5-seed Ohio State at 7:30 p.m. ET. No. 5-seed NC State and No. 7-seed Virginia will head to Evanston, Illinois, on Friday as the Cavaliers compete against No. 2-seed Georgia at 1:00 p.m. ET and the Wolfpack takes on No. 4-seed Oklahoma State at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The ITA National Indoor Championships will feature three top-15 matchups on Friday. No. 15 Virginia will go against the top team in the nation, facing No. 1 Georgia at 1 p.m. ET. No. 9 NC State will take on No. 8 Oklahoma State at 7:30 p.m. ET, while No. 7 Duke and No. 10 Ohio State go head-to-head. All tournament matches will be broadcast live on PlaySight.
The ACC had six teams ranked in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Women’s Top 25 Coaches Poll, highlighted by North Carolina at No. 3. Duke (No. 8) and Stanford (No. 9) rounded out the top 10, while NC State (No. 11), Virginia (No. 14) and California (No. 15) filled out the rest of the top 15.

- North Carolina’s Reese Brantmeier was ranked as the No. 1 singles player in the nation on Wednesday, February 4, in the ITA Individual Rankings.
- North Carolina’s Reese Brantmeier won the 2025-26 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Singles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
- The NC State doubles team of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe won the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Doubles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
- ACC women’s tennis players earned a total of 10 ITA All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships. The complete list of All-Americans will be announced at the end of the 2025–26 season once all criteria are met.
- The 2025 ACC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships will be held April 14-19 at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina.
