2026 Standings
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The Saturday, April 11, slate of Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse games features three matchups of ranked teams, including a No. 1 versus No. 2 showdown as top-ranked North Carolina travels to No. 2 Notre Dame at 5 p.m. ET on ACC Network.
Also on Saturday, red-hot Virginia, ranked No. 13 in the USILA poll, visits No. 5 Syracuse at 4 p.m. ET on ESPNU. The Cavaliers have won four straight games, including a 14-10 win at Duke last Saturday.
In non-conference play, No. 11 Duke battles No. 7 Cornell at 2 p.m. ET in a neutral-site clash in Brookville, New York, on Long Island.
All five ACC teams are ranked in the latest USILA Coaches poll, with North Carolina ascending to No. 1 this week. Notre Dame is No. 2, while Syracuse is No. 5, Duke is No. 11 and Virginia is No. 13.
The No. 1 versus No. 2 matchup between UNC and Notre Dame marks the eighth-ever ACC game pitting the nation's No. 1 and 2 teams in the USILA poll.

Noting ACC Men's Lacrosse
• North Carolina junior attackman Dominic Pietramala notched ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors, while UNC freshman goalie Josh Marcus and Virginia graduate goalie Jake Marek shared ACC Defensive Player of the Week for games played from March 30-April 5.
• In the latest RPI, all five ACC teams stand among the top 13: No. 1 North Carolina, No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 4 Syracuse, No. 8 Virginia and No. 13 Duke.
• ACC teams have combined to go 37-7 (84.1%) in non-conference play this season, which is by far the best mark of any conference.
• The five ACC programs each rank among the top 20 nationally in scoring offense this week, with Duke leading the nation at 16.2 goals per game.
• Three ACC teams are among the top teams nationally in scoring defense: No. 5 Duke (8.5), No. 7 Notre Dame (8.6) and No. 8 North Carolina (8.8).
• 21 ACC players have been named to the watch list for the 2026 Tewaaraton Award. That is the most of any conference.
• Duke's John Danowski (first, 492), ND's Kevin Corrigan (second, 377) and UNC's Joe Breschi (third, 271) own the most Division I wins among active D-I head coaches. Virginia's Lars Tiffany is eighth with 218). Danowski is the winningest Division I head coach all-time.
• Reigning ACC champion Syracuse was tabbed the ACC favorite in the Preseason ACC Coaches Poll. The Orange were followed by Notre Dame, North Carolina, Duke and Virginia, respectively.
• The 2026 ACC schedule features four games per team (two road, two home). The 2026 ACC Tournament will be contested May 1 and 3, featuring the top four teams in the league standings competing at Charlotte's American Legion Memorial Stadium.
• The University of Virginia will serve as the host of the 2026 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships, which will be contested at Scott Stadium from May 23-25.
• 17 ACC regular-season games are slated to be televised on ESPNU or ACC Network. The three games of the ACC Tournament also air on ACCN.
• The ACC owns 19 NCAA Championships, including four of the last six with Virginia in 2019 and 2021 and Notre Dame in 2023 and 2024.
• The five active ACC teams have combined for 27 national championships, including 11 of the last 17.
• Syracuse owns 10 NCAA titles (most of any NCAA program), while Virginia has won seven, UNC five, Duke three and Notre Dame two.
• Syracuse advanced to NCAA Championship Weekend last season for the first time since 2013 and its first time as a member of the ACC.
• At least one ACC team has advanced to the national semifinals in 50 of the 54 years in which the NCAA Tournament has been contested.
