- Three big Saturday games make up the first weekend of April in Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse. In league play, No. 16 Virginia travels to No. 7 Duke at noon ET on ACC Network, and No. 3 Syracuse visits No. 2 North Carolina at 2 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

In non-conference action, No. 5 Notre Dame takes on No. 1 Richmond at 12:30 p.m. ET in Evanston, Illinois. ACC Network Extra has the broadcast of the top-five clash.

All five ACC teams are ranked in the latest USILA Coaches poll, including four in the top seven, with North Carolina at No. 2, Syracuse at No. 3, Notre Dame at No. 5, Duke at No. 7 and Virginia at No. 16.

Noting ACC Men's Lacrosse
• Virginia's Brendan Millon earned ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors, while UVA's John Schroter earned ACC Defensive Player of the Week for games played from March 23-29.
• In the latest RPI, all five ACC teams stand among the top 11: No. 1 UNC, No. 2 Syracuse, No. 7 Notre Dame, No. 9 Duke and No. 11 Virginia.
• ACC teams have combined to go 36-7 (83.7%) in non-conference play this season, which is by far the best mark of any conference.
• The five ACC programs each rank among the top 10 nationally in scoring offense this week, with Duke leading the nation at 16.9 goals per game.
• Three ACC teams are among the top teams nationally in scoring defense: No. 3 Duke (7.9), No. 7 Notre Dame (8.7) and No. 8 North Carolina (8.8).
• Virginia's McCabe Millon ranks second nationally in points per game (5.4), while Syracuse's Joey Spallina (5.0) is seventh. UVA freshman Brendan Millon ranks 11th nationally in points per game and leads all freshmen at 4.8 per game.
• 21 ACC players have been named to the watch list for the 2026 Tewaaraton Award. That is the most of any conference.
• Duke's John Danowski (first, 492), ND's Kevin Corrigan (second, 376) and UNC's Joe Breschi (third, 270) own the most Division I wins among active D-I head coaches. Virginia's Lars Tiffany is eighth with 217). Danowski is the winningest Division I head coach all-time.
• Reigning ACC champion Syracuse was tabbed the ACC favorite in the Preseason ACC Coaches Poll. The Orange were followed by Notre Dame, North Carolina, Duke and Virginia, respectively.
• The 2026 ACC schedule features four games per team (two road, two home). The 2026 ACC Tournament will be contested May 1 and 3, featuring the top four teams in the league standings competing at Charlotte's American Legion Memorial Stadium.
• The University of Virginia will serve as the host of the 2026 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships, which will be contested at Scott Stadium from May 23-25.
• 17 ACC regular-season games are slated to be televised on ESPNU or ACC Network. The three games of the ACC Tournament also air on ACCN.
• The ACC owns 19 NCAA Championships, including four of the last six with Virginia in 2019 and 2021 and Notre Dame in 2023 and 2024.
• The five active ACC teams have combined for 27 national championships, including 11 of the last 17.
• Syracuse owns 10 NCAA titles (most of any NCAA program), while Virginia has won seven, UNC five, Duke three and Notre Dame two.
• Syracuse advanced to NCAA Championship Weekend last season for the first time since 2013 and its first time as a member of the ACC.
• At least one ACC team has advanced to the national semifinals in 50 of the 54 years in which the NCAA Tournament has been contested.
