CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – As the collegiate cross-country season continues, seven Atlantic Coast Conference teams will compete across four meets on Friday September 25 and Saturday September 26.

Florida State will travel to the Ganes Creek Classic in Columbia, Missouri on Friday. The women’s Gold Invitational 6k race will begin at 9 a.m. ET. and the men’s Gold Invitational 8k race will begin at 9:45 a.m. ET.

Virginia will compete in the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational in Chicago Illinois. The meet will consist of two races per gender. The Tom Cooney Championship Races will kick off the action with the women's 6k at 10 a.m. and men's 8k at 10:40 a.m. ET. The women's Open Division 6k will follow at 11:20 a.m., followed by the men's Open Division 8k at noon. ET.

On Saturday, SMU will travel to the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course for the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The women’s 6k race will begin at 9:15 a.m. with the men’s 8k race starting at 9:50 a.m. ET.

Duke, North Carolina, Syracuse, and Wake Forest will all compete in the Princeton Meadows Challenge in Princeton New Jersey. The men’s 8k race will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the women’s meet following at 10:15 a.m. ET.

Noting ACC Cross Country

• In the USTFCCCA Week 1 coaches’ poll, seven ACC women’s cross-country teams were ranked – the most of any conference.
• Four ACC men’s cross-country teams were ranked in the Week 1 coaches’ poll – the second most of any conference.
• The NC State women’s team has been ranked #1 in a second straight USTFCCA poll to begin the 2026 season.
