CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) -- Following a 13-1 showing as a league in midweek competition, the Atlantic Coast Conference boasts a 170-37 record in non-conference play - good for a .821 winning percentage. The mark ranks second among all conferences.
As of Tuesday, the ACC is tied for the lead among all conferences with 13 teams inside the top 100 of the updated RPI. The ACC leads all conferences with seven teams ranked inside of the top 25 of the RPI. Clemson leads the country at No. 1, while No. 4 Florida State, No. 10 North Carolina, No. 11 Notre Dame, No. 17 Wake Forest, No. 24 Virginia Tech and No. 25 Virginia all rank inside the top 25 nationally.
Seven teams from the ACC remain ranked inside the top 25, according to D1Baseball. Clemson once again leads the conference at No. 4, followed by No. 9 Duke, No. 12 Florida State, No. 14 Virginia, No. 16 Wake Forest, No. 19 Virginia Tech and No. 20 North Carolina. The seven teams in this week’s poll are the most for the conference this season and ranks second in the country.
Six of the seven series throughout the ACC this weekend will feature at least one ranked team. The fourth-ranked Clemson Tigers will host 12th-ranked Florida State in the premier weekend series throughout the conference. Throughout the ACC, No. 16 Wake Forest and No. 20 North Carolina will also play at home while No. 9 Duke, No. 14 Virginia and No. 19 Virginia Tech will all be on the road.

- Florida State is the lone undefeated team remaining in Division I baseball. The 18-0 Seminoles continue ACC play this weekend with a three-game road series against No. 4 Clemson.
- Going into weekend action, the ACC leads all conferences in batting average (.320), on-base percentage (.431), runs (2,623), hits (3,119), doubles (621), home runs (525), total bases (5,447), runs batted in (2,394), and sacrifice flies (161).
- Home runs have been flying throughout the ACC this season, as four teams rank in the top nine nationally. Virginia Tech leads the ACC with 53 home runs, which ranks third nationally, while Duke’s 48 long balls rank fourth. Clemson and Notre Dame have each hit 43 home runs, tying for ninth nationally.
- Five ACC teams also rank in the top nine nationally in batting average, led by Florida State, which is second with a .356 average. Virginia Tech is third (.352), Virginia is fourth (.351), Louisville is sixth (.343), and Duke is ninth (.332) to pace the league.
- Virginia leads the ACC with 62 doubles this season, a mark that currently ranks second nationally. The Cavaliers are recording 2.95 doubles per game to lead the conference and rank second nationally.
- Florida has posted a conference-leading .985 fielding percentage to begin the season, which ranks second nationally. Duke and Boston College remain in the top six across the country, both posting a .983 fielding percentage.
- Florida State pitching ranks second in the nation in strikeouts per nine innings, averaging 13.1, while Wake Forest sits in fourth, fanning 12.5 hitters per nine innings and Duke sits in ninth, averaging 11.7 punchouts per nine. Wake Forest’s Chase Burns leads the ACC with 56 strikeouts on the season, ranking second in Division I baseball. Duke’s Jonathan Santucci (46) and Florida State’s Jamie Arnold (44) rank seventh and 10th nationally.
- Virginia leads the country with 274 hits on the season, while Louisville’s 249 hits are the fifth-best in the country and Duke’s 246 knocks rank seventh. The Seminoles’ Cam Smith is fourth in the country with 39 hits, while Miami’s Jason Torres has 37 and North Carolina’s Casey Cook has 36, ranking seventh and 10th in the nation, respectively.
- North Carolina’s Matthew Matthijs leads the country with eight wins on the mound this season. Florida State’s Jamie Arnold is tied for second nationally with five wins.
- Duke’s Charlie Beilenson has been lights out from the bullpen and leads the country with eight saves this season. No other pitcher in the country has more than six saves to date. Beilenson needs just four saves to tie the single-season record by a Duke pitcher.
- NC State’s Alec Makarewicz and North Carolina’s Casey Cook have both driven in a conference-best 35 runs this season. With 34 RBI, Georgia Tech’s Drew Burress ranks eighth in the nation in the category.
