CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – For the fourth consecutive season, the Atlantic Coast Conference will send multiple teams to the Women’s College Cup, as Duke, Florida State and Stanford each punched their tickets on quarterfinal victories on Friday, November 28.
ACC teams combined to win their quarterfinal matches by a 12-2 margin, highlighted by a shutout from second-seeded Duke over third-seeded Washington. Top-seeded Stanford pulled away from Michigan State, 5-1, while third-seeded Florida State cruised to a 4-1 victory over Ohio State.
