CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Eight of the nine Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey teams will begin league play on Friday, September 19, and continue Sunday, September 21. Louisville will have the league’s open week and will square off with a pair of ranked non-conference opponents.
Sunday’s contest between No. 13 Boston College and No. 20 Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, will begin at noon ET and be nationally televised on ACC Network. The linear broadcast will be one of four ranked matchups throughout ACC play this weekend, including a top five clash between No. 3 Virginia and No. 4 Syracuse.
Louisville will host No. 14 Ohio State on Friday at 4 p.m. ET on ACCNX, before traveling to No. 15 Saint Joseph’s on Sunday for a noon ET contest on ESPN+. Saint Joseph’s is coming off a trip to the national championship in 2024.

- Conference play begins this weekend for 8 of the 9 ACC teams.

- Six ACC teams are represented in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches’ Poll, including four teams in the top 10.
