This Week in ACC Women's Tennis

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The fifth weekend of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis spring season gets underway on Thursday, February 12, when Syracuse hosts Buffalo at 3 p.m. ET and Wake Forest hosts Memphis at 5 p.m. ET.

This weekend will see two ranked matchups, both involving the Wolfpack, as No. 8 NC State heads to Columbus, Ohio, for a 6 p.m. ET matchup at No. 2 Ohio State on Friday, February 13. NC State will then close out the weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to face off against No. 17 Michigan at noon ET on Sunday, February 15.

The ACC had seven teams ranked in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Women’s Top 25 Coaches Poll, highlighted by North Carolina at No. 3. NC State (No. 8) and Duke (No. 9) rounded out the top 10, while California (No. 14), Virginia (No. 16) Clemson (No. 21) and Stanford (No. 22) filled out the rest of the top 25.

Noting ACC Women’s Tennis
  • North Carolina’s Reese Brantmeier was ranked as the No. 1 singles player in the nation on Wednesday, February 4, in the ITA Individual Rankings.
  • North Carolina’s Reese Brantmeier won the 2025-26 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Singles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
  • The NC State doubles team of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe won the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Doubles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. 
  • ACC women’s tennis players earned a total of 10 ITA All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships. The complete list of All-Americans will be announced at the end of the 2025–26 season once all criteria are met. 
  • The 2026 ACC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships will be held April 14-19 at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina.
