This Week in ACC Softball

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Week three of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Softball season continues with 83 games over the course of four days, beginning this Thursday, February 19, with two ranked matchups between No. 16 Arizona and No. 10 Stanford at 8 p.m. ET (ACCNX) and No. 15 Duke and No. 13 Texas A&M at 8:30 p.m. ET (FloCollege).

ACC teams will compete in seven additional ranked matchups this weekend. No. 14 Duke will travel to Cathedral City, California, to face No. 4 Oklahoma at 4 p.m. ET on Friday, February 20, followed by a 9 p.m. ET matchup against No. 11 UCLA. The Blue Devils will then go head-to-head with No. 14 Oregon on Saturday, February 21, at 12:30 p.m. ET. All games will be broadcast live on FloCollege.

No. 7 Florida State will host No. 9 Alabama in Tallahassee, Florida, on Friday at 5:30 p.m. ET and again on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET. Both will be broadcast live on ACCNX. Virginia Tech will hit the road to Athens, Georgia, to face off with No. 12 Georgia on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET and again on Sunday, February 22, at 1 p.m. ET. Both games will be broadcast live on SECN+.

The ACC had six teams in the Week 2 ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25 Poll, headlined by Florida State at No. 7. Stanford (No. 10), Duke (No. 14), Virginia Tech (No. 20), Clemson (No. 24) and Virginia (No. 25) helped round out the top 25.

Noting ACC Softball
  • ACC Softball collected eight wins over ranked teams on opening weekend.
  • Florida State was voted the preseason favorite to win the 2026 ACC Softball title by the league’s 15 head coaches.
  • Seven members of the Preseason All-ACC softball team were named to the USA Softball Top 50 Watch List for the 2026 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year. Among the list are: Jaysoni Beachum (Florida State), Macey Cintron (Clemson), Jazzy Francik (Florida State), Kennedy Harp (Florida State), River Mahler (Stanford), Aminah Vega (Duke) and Isa Torres (Florida State).
  • Virginia will host the 2026 ACC Softball Championship from Wednesday, May 6, to Saturday, May 9, at Palmer Park in Charlottesville, Virginia.
