CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Earning a pair of victories at the Ivy Invitational last Saturday, the Virginia Varsity Four has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Crew of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
 
CREW OF THE WEEK – Virginia Varsity Four

• Totaled two wins over ranked competition at Saturday’s Ivy Invitational on Lake Carnegie in West Windsor, New Jersey.
• Crossed the line at 8:00.488 in their first race, finishing ahead of No. 9 Brown (8:01.888) and No. 11 Rutgers (8:03.580).
• Finished at 8:01.214 in their final race, defeating No. 17 Harvard (8:05.606).
• Recorded two of Virginia’s eight victories on the day.
