CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Ten Atlantic Coast Conference women’s tennis teams earned bids into the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Championship, as was announced by the NCAA on Monday, April 27.
First-round play begins Friday, May 1, with the championship set for Sunday, May 17, at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Georgia.
The 10 teams are tied for the most from the ACC since sending 10 teams in 2018, 2019 and 2025 – just one shy of the league record of 11 teams in 2016.
Four teams in North Carolina (No. 5), Virginia (No. 7), NC State (No. 8) and Duke (No. 15) earned a top-16 seed and will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Championship on May 1-3.
