CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The final week of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Softball season features five midweek matchups on Tuesday, April 28, and the final slate of conference competition beginning Friday, May 1.
Going into the final week of conference play, Florida State (43-7 overall) leads the league with a conference record of 18-3. Duke (38-13) is in second with a 20-4 conference ledger, while Louisville (41-10) sits in third with a 16-5 league mark.
Four ACC games will be broadcast live on linear networks, beginning with a top-10 matchup on Tuesday between No. 8 Florida and No. 10 Florida State. The game will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. ET on SECN. The three remaining linear matchups will be broadcast live on ACC Network this weekend.
Six ACC teams are ranked in the Week 12 ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25 Poll, led by Florida State at No. 10. Joining the Seminoles are Duke at No. 11, Virginia Tech at No. 17, Stanford at No. 18, Clemson at No. 22 and Louisville at No. 24.=

- Six ACC players have been recognized as Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I National Players of the Week this season: Jessica Oakland - Duke, Gracyn Tucker – Georgia Tech, Emily LeGette - North Carolina (2x), Bella Cabral - Virginia, Zoe Prystajko - Stanford and Shelby McKenzie - Florida State.
- Virginia head coach Joanna Hardin recorded her 300th career win on February 20.
- Clemson head coach John Rittman recorded his 1,000th career win on February 28.
- Stanford head coach Jessica Allister recorded her 600th career win on March 28.
- Florida State head coach Lonni Alameda recorded her 1,000th career win on March 29.
- Florida State was voted the preseason favorite to win the 2026 ACC Softball title by the league’s 15 head coaches.
- Seven members of the Preseason All-ACC softball team were named to the USA Softball Top 50 Watch List for the 2026 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year. Among the list are: Jaysoni Beachum (Florida State), Macey Cintron (Clemson), Jazzy Francik (Florida State), Kennedy Harp (Florida State), River Mahler (Stanford), Aminah Vega (Duke) and Isa Torres (Florida State).
