CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The 26th edition of the Atlantic Coast Conference Rowing Championship is set to begin on Friday, May 15, at Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, North Carolina. The championship will open with preliminary heats on Friday and concludes with finals on Saturday, May 16. Both days of racing will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.
After being held in Clemson, South Carolina, last year, the regatta returns to Lake Wheeler for the third time in the last four years.
Action begins Friday at 8:05 a.m. ET with the Third Varsity Eight, followed by the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four. There will be two heats of each event.
On Saturday, the Petite Finals will be held prior to the Grand Finals for each event with action starting at 8:05 a.m. ET. The order of events includes the Third Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Four, Varsity Four, Second Varsity Eight and Varsity Eight. Olympic Gold Medalist Lindsay Shoop, 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist Amanda Polk and longtime Virginia head coach Kevin Sauer will be on the call for both days of the championship on ACCNX.
The 2026 ACC Rowing Championship is a non-ticketed event. Admission is free for fans planning to attend.

- Tied for the most in the nation, seven ACC teams earned spots in the latest Pocock Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Coaches Poll, released on May 12, led by defending national champion Stanford at No. 3. The Cardinal are followed by No. 6 California, No. 8 Virginia, No. 10 Syracuse, No. 13 Duke, No. 14 Miami and No. 23 North Carolina.
- Last season, in its first ACC Rowing Championship, Stanford took home the conference title, setting grand final record times in each event. The Cardinal went on to claim the league’s third rowing national championship.
