CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – After a team title and a pair of runner-up finishes last week, six Atlantic Coast Conference teams are back on the links this week, beginning on Sunday, March 24.
Headlining last week was Louisville, which captured the team title at the General James Hackler Championship in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, as senior Max Kennedy captured his second career medalist honors. The Cardinals became the fourth different ACC team to win a tournament this spring, while Kennedy is the fifth different ACC player to claim medalist honors.
Notre Dame finished second at the Schenkel Invitational, as Palmer Jackson led the Fighting Irish at 8-under, which tied him for fifth. Also placing second was Virginia, as the Cavaliers finished 29-under at the Linger Longer Invitational in Eatonton, Georgia. Bryan Lee led the Hoos with a fourth-place finish at 8-under.
This week, Virginia Tech heads to the Dye Course at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, North Carolina, for the Seahawk Intercollegiate, beginning Sunday. Also beginning on Sunday, NC State will compete at The Hootie at Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, South Carolina. On Monday, four ACC teams will participate in the Valspar Collegiate Invitational at Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Florida.

- In the latest edition of the Bushnell/Golfweek Division I Coaches Poll, released on March 22, five ACC teams are in the top 25, as North Carolina leads the way at No. 1. Florida State is No. 10, Virginia is No. 12, Georgia Tech is No. 15 and Duke is No. 25. Notre Dame, Louisville and Wake Forest are receiving votes.
- In the latest National Collegiate Golf team rankings according to Scoreboard powered by Clippd, five ACC teams are in the top 25 with North Carolina leading the way at No. 1. Florida State is No. 11, Virginia is No. 12, Georgia Tech is No. 15 and Duke is No. 25.
- In the latest National Collegiate Golf individual rankings, two ACC players rank in the top 10, as Georgia Tech's Christo Lamprecht is the top ranked ACC player at No. 4 and North Carolina’s David Ford is No. 10. UNC’s Maxwell Ford is No. 12 and FSU’s Luke Claton is No. 18. Louisville’s Sebastian Moss and Florida State’s Tyler Weaver are just outside the top 25 at No. 30 and No. 31, respectively.
- In the latest PGA TOUR University rankings, seven ACC players are in the top 25 with three in the top 10. Georgia Tech’s Christo Lamprecht leads the way at No. 2, while North Carolina’s Austin Greaser and Dylan Menante are No. 5 and No. 10, respectively. Florida State’s Frederik Kjettrup is No. 11, Wake Forest’s Michael Brennan is No. 14 and the FSU duo of Cole Anderson and Brett Roberts are No. 17 and No. 20, respectively.
- Seven ACC players were named to the watch list of the 2024 Ben Hogan Award presented by PNC Bank. The list includes David Ford (North Carolina), Maxwell Ford (North Carolina), Austin Greaser (North Carolina), Ben James (Virginia), Christo Lamprecht (Georgia Tech), Dylan Menante (North Carolina) and Sebastian Moss (Louisville).
