CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Florida State junior forward Jordynn Dudley and Notre Dame sophomore midfielder/forward Izzy Engle have been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Offensive Players of the Week, while Louisville senior goalkeeper Erynn Floyd was selected as the ACC Defensive Player of the Week for matches played between October 20-26.
CO-OFFENSIVE – Jordynn Dudley, Jr., F, Florida State (Milton, Georgia)
- Scored two goals and added an assist in the 3-2 upset win over No. 3 Virginia last Thursday.
- Recorded the equalizer in the 59th minute and later gave the Seminoles a 2-1 lead in the 64th minute.
- Assisted on the 89th-minute game-winner.
- Her five points in the win marked a season high, the second-most of her collegiate career.
CO-OFFENSIVE – Izzy Engle, So., M/F, Notre Dame (Edina, Minnesota)
- Closed the week with four goals and an assist in a win over Virginia Tech (5-0) and a draw at Wake Forest (1-1).
- Became the first player in the ACC to register a hat trick in a league match this season, tallying three goals and an assist against the Hokies.
- The hat trick was her second of her collegiate career.
- Scored the Fighting Irish’s only goal against the Demon Deacons on Sunday.
- Currently the only player in the ACC with double-figure goals in league play (11).
DEFENSIVE – Erynn Floyd, Sr., GK, Louisville (Wilton, Connecticut)
- Made four saves and earned the shutout in Thursday’s win over NC State.
- The clean sheet was her ninth of the season and fifth in league play, the most among all ACC goalkeepers.
- Marked the first time NC State was held without a goal in its last eight contests.
- Also marked the first time the Wolfpack has been shut out at home since August 14.
Women’s Soccer Notes
- The 2025 Ally ACC Women’s Soccer Tournament begins Sunday, November 2, with first-round matchups on campus sites before heading to First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park for the semifinals on Thursday, November 6, and the final on Sunday, November 9.
- A nation-best nine ACC teams are in the top 25 of the latest RPI. The next closest conference has six teams.
- ACC teams closed the non-conference portion of the regular season with 81 victories, tied for the most among all conferences.
- ACC teams own a 15-9-7 (.597) record against peer Power Four conference opponents this season.
- Five ACC teams are in the top 10 nationally in scoring offense, headlined by No. 1 Stanford (3.81 goals per game) and No. 3 Notre Dame (3.47).
