No. 1 Virginia and No. 3 NC State Set For 2026 ACC Women's Tennis Championship

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The stage is set for a championship showdown, as the top-seeded Virginia Cavaliers will take on No. 3 seed NC State in the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis Championship title match on Sunday, April 19, at 2 p.m. ET on ACCNX.
 
No. 7 Virginia (21-4, 12-0 ACC) defeated No. 18 Duke (18-7, 10-2 ACC), 4-2, in Saturday’s semifinal match. Virginia clinched the doubles point with wins at No. 2 by Martina Genis Salas and Annabelle Xu, 6-3, and at No. 3 by Isabelle Lacy and Katie Rolls, 7-6 (5). The Cavaliers then took singles points in the order of Lacy (#4 singles), Annabelle Xu (#2) and Rolls (#3) to advance to the finals.
 
No. 13 NC State (21-7, 10-2 ACC) punched its ticket to the championship match, 4-2, knocking off the No. 6 nationally ranked and No. 2 seed Tar Heels (24-3, 11-1 ACC). NC State recorded doubles wins from Victoria Osuigwe and Gabriella Broadfoot on court No. 1 and Jasmine Conway and Anna Zyryanova on court No. 2 to clinch the doubles point. Singles points came from Mia Slama (#1 singles), Broadfoot (#3) and Lavinia Tanasie (#4).
