CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the sixth set of weekly honors for the 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis season, the SMU duo of Caroline McGinley and Amelie Van Ipme shared ACC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week honors with the Stanford tandem of Caroline Driscoll and Monika Ekstrand. Additionally, California’s Berta Passola Folch was named the ACC Player of the Week, while SMU’s Van Impe and Stanford’s Monika Ekstrand shared ACC Women’s Freshman of the Week honors.
 
ACC WOMEN’S CO-DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK
Amelie Van Impe, SMU, Fr. (Wichlen, Belgium)

• Defeated Virginia’s duo of No. 3 Melodi Collard and Vivian Yang, 6-4.
• Defeated the Virginia Tech duo of Arina Gamretkaia and Ozlem Uslu, 6-2.

ACC WOMEN’S CO-DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK

• Defeated Clemson’s duo of No. 26 Jade Groen and Rinon Okuwaki, 6-3.
• Defeated the Georgia Tech duo of No. 52 Alejandra Cruz and Seri Nayuki, 7-5.

ACC WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Berta Passola Folch, California, SMU (Barcelona, Spain)

• Defeated Georgia Tech’s No. 50 Alejandra Cruz, 6-1, 6-3.
• Defeated No. 21 Clemson’s Romana Cisovska, 6-4, 7-6 (2).
• Teamed with Tiziana-Marie Schomburg to clinch the doubles point against both No. 21 Clemson and Georgia Tech.
  • Helped defeat the Clemson duo of Cisovska and Gaia Parravicini, 6-3.
  • Helped defeat the Georgia Tech duo of Taly Licht and Sabritt Dozier, 6-4.
