CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Notre Dame senior Jonathan Hamilton-Meikle earned Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Fencer of the Week honors, while Fighting Irish sophomore Siobhan Sullivan claimed Women’s Fencer of the Week laurels for the week of January 26-February 1.
 
MEN’S FENCER OF WEEK – Jonathan Hamilton-Meikle, Sr., Epee, Notre Dame (Budapest, Hungary)
• Posted a 14-1 record while competing in the Schiller Duals.
• Was 3-0 against No. 12 Stanford, No. 15 UC San Diego, Air Force and UIW.
• Led the No. 1-ranked Notre Dame men to five team wins.
 
WOMEN’S FENCER OF WEEK – Siobhan Sullivan, So., Sabre, Notre Dame (Tigard, Oregon)
• Notched a 12-0 record at the Schiller Duals.
• Was 3-0 against No. 6 Northwestern, No. 11 Stanford, UC San Diego and UIW.
• Led the second-ranked Fighting Irish women to four team wins.
